How Can Ticks On The Body be Treated?

Is there any miracle treatment to remove ticks from your body? My husband got into some tall grass and weeds a while back and he still has ticks. They are on his legs, groin area, and abdomen. Is there something I can put on him that will remove the ticks?

Hello dear
I understand your concern

You can remove the tick from the body as below:
- You can remove tick yourself with help of tweezers.
- Hold the tick close to the skin’s surface and pull away from the skin
- Trying not to bend or twist the tick.
- Not leave any of the tick’s part in the bite.
- Clean the area with alcohol/soap and water.
- Take bath with hot water.
- You can also apply Cinnamon Oil directly on the affected area or body as it act as natural repellent and useful in getting rid from ticks.

- Check all your body part (groin, head, axilla) for ticks.
- Comb your hair with a fine-toothed comb.
- Put your clothes in a hot dryer and hang them out in the sun.

If you have fever and pain, then take acetaminophen to relieve pain.
If you have itching, then apply ointment containg diphenhydramine.
Apply ice packs on the lesion.
If redness/skin rash occurs, then suggestive of infection
For that single dose of doxycycline is required.
Hope this may help you
